Funny how people played COD competitively for years...with its poor hit detection. BF4 is a complete mess. And this game is far from a completed product.
I can understand some problems or difference of view when discussing the developers, but it seems this attitude of "I'm a gamer and you're made to serve me" is just downright wrong.
It is up to the community to constructively offer their opinions instead of empty threats of "I would fire you if I ran the company". That's just pure immaturity, really.
I am far from entitled to anything. But, the players however are entitled. They are the ones spending their time and money supporting this game. I feel they defiantly are entitled to a complete and finished product that has been fully bug tested. But aren't you're a player? So what are you saying essentially? You're entitled to have a perfect game and other games in the FPS genre has gotten it right without any hiccups for their release? That people played games that were not severely broken (i.e. Call of Duty hit detection which was a joke)? No they can't possibly see all the bugs...that's where we come in. What was the reason that Respawn encouraged players to come to open beta? To spam the heck out of the servers to test the game's merits. We are the testers of this game. We find the bugs and we bring it to their attention. A small team can't possibly find all that we find. Listen, I'm not saying they are perfect or some great god of developing company. But the way the community handles this situation and the things they say are just downright obnoxious, oblivious and reeks of immaturity. They told us this project wasn't going to be a wham bam, thank you ma'am thing. They told us they will be improving it over time. They showed us a concept of where they would like to be. They are building towards that, not at the speed you or I would like, but with their dedication and our involvement, the game will get there. It's about having a mature understanding of these things instead of just throwing a fit, posting empty threats as if that would generate a genuine response (lord knows if I was a dev, I couldn't visit these forums and read a plethora of bratty self entitled posts) and acting as if the game stopped growing on its "release" date. If we are going to point at the devs, maybe we need to point at the community too. Pull CCP's **** out of your ass fanboy. There is so much ccpfellating in your posts its ridiculous. You claim with our dedication and involvement this game will get there....prove it? It's been over a year and we are still in the exact same spot we were a year ago. We (as a community) have funneled hundreds of thousands of dollars into this game, yes, we are entitled to our opinions. Please, enlighten us with your "mature understanding" of "these things". What is an acceptable timeline for simple bugs and testing to take place? If this was CoD you twit, we'd have had 3 new CoD titles in the same amount of time its taken them to not fix anything. The game has stopped growing. What rock do you live under that leads you to believe otherwise? What more do you want from the community? Many pay money for this 'free' game, we dedicate our time(=money), and loyalty to this game. We have accepted the role of tester, neigh, embraced the role. Now you are asking in a very condescending tone that we stop asking CCP to fix the problems with the game that are pushing more and more people away every week? They build the biggest content release patch, and the ******* passive skills still don't apply two weeks later??? How is this acceptable? HOW THE **** DID YOU NOT EVEN TRY THE BUILD ONCE?? Same thing happened with turbo boosters in 1.7. Its ******* pathetic and ridiculous the product they continue to release. Don't worry though, they fixed the bug where if you go to a supply depot you can swap fits and remain cloaked. Because that's what takes priority. You wanted obnoxious, oblivious, and downright immature, there you go.
Samsung last week rolled out a tested fIrmware update for the s3, but somewhere along the way they missed an optimization error which caused the update to drain the battery in nearly six hours instead of the standard 24 that they've set. Today is 6 days later, still not fixed.
The amount of butthurt this ****- weaseling d!ck-fart forum community has makes me wonder why Samsung isn't burnt to the ground already.
Is it because people in real accept that things go south, and that maybe, just frogking maybe, it takes time to find the frogking problem.
Is it horse sh!t that 1.8 bugsfrom launch are still about? Yes. Its sofa king hard to fg an ads or tank giving a point hell at spawn, but any amount of sh!t posting in this forum will not resolve the issue faster.
GdiDD, you know that. A small studio stretched thin between damage control and finishing up codename evolution for fanfest release makes for delays. Perhaps all of us should be asking/petitioning for CCP to hire more persons. Or stop shadow coding a ps4 port.
Between SOE's " don't brick ps3's" mandate and very few rolling through the stupid huge amount of code to find and improve the broken lines, its quite amazing anything gets done. Ever.
But hey, what do I know, im one of those sh!tbrains that actually enjoy this game and have since replication.
